The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you're looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is mid-range. It has a great mopping capability, but it lacks certain of the more advanced features that are found in its more expensive sibling.
During robotic shark vacuum was able to tackle dry oats and dust on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. However, unlike other models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to determine the layout of your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It is loaded with features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is integrated into the base of charging. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once the system is in place it can begin cleaning automatically with just one button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like cereal and rice or two thorough maps of your area to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance.
This robot vacuum is effective both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better with future models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt an open-fronted, flat-fronted design, which will allow it to hug walls and furniture. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of the majority of robovacs. However, we found it to be marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system that blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating throughout your home. We like the claim, but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to keep track of the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior. It can then clean your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundaries so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those found on higher-end models. And its mopping system is better because its spinning pads clean your floors more effectively than a vibrating pad.
The only drawback is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, it's not a major issue for those who want to own one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three times, even when you've got a lot of dirt.
As for the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. Its two lowest mopping modes that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or even watch TV without distraction. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on if it comes across one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, such as the clean water tank running low or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled due to a stuffed dust bin.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo manages your home. This is an excellent feature to have if you have several rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or if there's clutter that needs to be cleaned out frequently, like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, removing debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can also clean up spills that are wet but I would suggest wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can need. It has the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets and hard floors. It is similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and empties mop pads to keep them fresh and ready for reuse. It also has a sensor system that can detect obstacles better which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still large--it measures over two feet in both height and depth, and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot as well as its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.
Additionally it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app as well as an assistant voice that works offline, which means you can use it even if you're not home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a predetermined path.
The Omni X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also outstanding, and it also increases suction when it detects a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in a consumer-grade robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of convenience features you don't often see on robots in this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. While these features are great but they also make the L10s Ultra more in the category of luxury which could make it slightly more expensive than some homeowners require.
It is designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top, there's a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will shut it off and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the settings menu in which you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra works with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum to recognize and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice staining. The mops also work well in removing 98.4% debris from our tile, carpet and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the floor or the quaker oats that are on carpet.
